HRW represented half of the racewalkers in the 1500, and all but one (James McFadden) in the 5K. It was a cold, windy day, and doing back to back race walks was challenging!

Thanks to all who participated in the 2017 edition of our club predicted-time walk. You were not deterred by the water, mud or potential predators on the trail. The results are shown below and we offer our congratulations to our top predictors: Karen, John and Sunday. The differences from predictions are shown along with the final pace (min:sec/mile). Special thanks to those who helped sweep the trail before the race: Fred, John, Maggie, BJ, Karen (and any others I may have missed). Thanks also for those who brought the great eats and helped clean up. We also are duly impressed with seeing Pat (minus her scooter and boot). Her resilience continues to amaze us all. Thanks to Fred for helping keep track of the time. We also wish Fred 'bon voyage' on his upcoming trip to Venice and ports beyond. It was also a pleasure to see Floyd and Martie back in their old territory; and we also got to see Phil (as we infrequently do during softball season). We look forward to resuming this great tradition next year, but maybe with a little less wet stuff from Mother Nature.
